Hey there! Let me be the first to officially welcome you to the CBM Fam. For those who don’t know me, I’m Curtis Bates, a local saxophonist in the Columbia, SC area. I’ve played saxophone for the past 15+ years and can definitely say that music is my passion! When I’m not performing, I’m walking down the halls of a local high school in the Columbia area where I serve as an Assistant Principal, or spending time with my wife and son! Enough about me, I have a big announcement…… (No not a CD… yet!)

We are starting something new… Newsletters! My purpose with the CBM Chronicles is just to keep you updated with what’s going on with Curtis! Don’t worry, we won’t spam you with tons of emails; we are looking to potentially send a letter once a month (maybe twice depending on the response). These letter will consist of upcoming performances, information about the Curtis Bates Music Foundation, and other things that may be on my heart.
